“By removing our excessive thinking around a problem we are allowing more space for the answer to come naturally.”
One of the best things about working at Xentum Wellbeing is everybody shares a common interest in personal improvement, both in our work and personal lives. As a team, we prioritise making space for insights rather than working hard to create ideas or find solutions. We know can be seen as a bit unorthodox, so allow me to explain.
By removing our excessive thinking around a problem we are allowing more space for the answer to come naturally. This approach is not about being idle but rather about discovering answers as we work. We believe that inner wisdom has the capacity to provide solutions to life’s most challenging questions, and more often than not, they emerge when the mind is relaxed and free from unnecessary noise.
During our recent event on decision-making and vision creation, we emphasized the value of a quiet mind. We encourage individuals to remember their most recent moments of clarity and inspiration and recall where they happened. The most common answers were in the shower and during exercise; times when the noise of the day is able to disappear; even if only for a brief moment. These seemingly unimportant moments can often lead to profound insights and inspiration. Who doesn’t enjoy a good moment of inspiration whilst singing your favourite song in the shower?
So, how can we relieve ourselves of the unnecessary noise created in the mind and allow inner wisdom to shine through? Start by knowing, we, and our teams, have all the answers to our challenges within ourselves, the secret to success is being able to access those answers whenever you need them. This is only possible with the creation of mental space! Relive yourself of the burden of excessive thinking, move on to something new and allow inner wisdom to rise to the surface.
This is what we call having an insight.
Insights arrive they are not summoned and they don’t enjoy excess noise. They prefer a calm environment where they can arrive and thrive in peace. The best way to invite more insights into your life is to create a calm and peaceful space for them to arrive into. This space is the mind.
So, how do we create this quiet space in the mind? Follow Xentum Wellbeing‘s page for more insights.
